3T Compact ready for Woods Hole

A recent order from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts, USA, is close to fulfilment.
25 sensors are being delivered to the Institute for an ocean floor seismology project, with completion expected by the end of 2004.
The instruments are based on a 3T Compact core, with customisations for WHOI’s own requirements:
- Low profile (220 mm excluding handle)
- Lightweight (< 11.5 kg)
- Low power consumption (< 0.35 W)
- Enhanced robust locking mechanism
- Custom 9-pin D-type output connectors
