Shout is a palm pilot application which can configure, test and record data from connected Güralp equipment.
There are some useful predefined macros available for shout.
Source and binaries for palm2gcf, a program to convert captured data in Palm database file format into GCF files are avaiable for a wide variety of platforms in the palm2gcf directory.
The manual covers installation in full. For windows launch the Palm Install Tool, or choose the install option from the Palm Desktop Software, click the Add button and then select the file (for example shout-current.prc, or ShoutMSDB.pdb) you wish to install. There are various palm pilot tools for unix, the most common is called pilot-link. The command
[root@unix shout]# pilot-xfer -p /dev/ttyS0 -i shout.prcwill cause pilot-link to install the file shout.prc onto the palm pilot connected to /dev/ttyS0
