The latest evolution of the CMG-5TD is the first broadband feedback accelerometer with direct output to networks and the Internet.
The CMG-5TD uses the new native TCP/IP support in Güralp Systems' DM24 mk3 digitizer to transmit data to network clients using the Scream! protocol.
Seismic analysis systems, including Antelope and Earthworm as well as Scream! itself, can connect directly to the 5TD and receive real-time data with full block recovery features.
Operators can connect to the 5TD using a simple Web page interface, which displays status and configuration information from the instrument.
You can also download data held in the on-board Flash memory directly from the instrument's Web page.
