New in this release

Scream! can now be used to view recorded files and GCF data sets in a standard WaveView window.

On compatible Windows systems, you can view GCF files or search directories for data with a simple context menu action.

Scream! can also be launched in viewing mode with a command line option, e.g.

scream -view 20060610/

All the features of Scream! WaveView windows are available in this mode, including spectrograms, customizable filters and direct export to ART 2.0 and Scream! extension modules.

Other enhancements

• Client-side DNS look-up for TCP Scream! servers (useful for dynamic IP addresses)
• Easier time-axis zoom: drag the ends of the horizontal scroll bar, or use SHIFT with the mouse wheel to inspect the area around the pointer
• Improved temporary file storage
• Cosmetic enhancements to DM24 configuration interface
