New Managing Director joins GSL

Güralp Systems Ltd wish to announce the appointment of a new Managing Director, as from the 14^th December, 2009.

Tony Wall arrives from QinetiQ PLC, where he was the Managing Director for the Aerospace Division. He has a wealth of managerial experience, spanning 30 years of working with leading edge technology. Tony has held leadership positions in the Air Force and, more recently, in Racal Instruments and an American aerospace company based in Chicago.

Tony's recent comments about his appointment at Güralp are as follows:

"This is a very successful business with great potential. I am truly honoured to have been given the responsibility for leading the business through its next phase of growth. I will be working very closely with Dr Güralp, who will continue to be closely engaged with the business as the Product Development Director. We will successfully implement our strategy in applying cutting edge science and technology in the development of new sensors and data acquisition systems for use on land, in boreholes, on the sea floor and on ice to serve the ever more demanding needs of the Earth Science community."
