Structural Health Monitoring (SHM)

We are proving centralised monitoring of structures to to capture, log, and analyze real-time data in response to dynamic shaking. In particular their resistance to wind forces and horizontal ground acceleration.

Applicable to dams, reservoirs, bridges, buildings and installations the Guralp Systems solution comprises an array of strong motion accelerometers coupled with acquisition modules and real time displays.

Selection criteria for accelerometers

We offer a wide range of sensors for different applications. Typically seismometers and or accelerometers are chosen based on the scientific requirement. This is normally determined by the bandwidth, sensitivity and noise level required for that application and installation.
