The CMG-5U is a compact strong motion force feedback accelerometer with a large dynamic range, suitable for hazard mitigation, modal analysis, and civil engineering applications.

The small size of the 5U accelerometer means it is particularly suited to in situ structural analysis applications. The CMG-DM24S12AMS acquisition and monitoring system is a self-contained structural monitoring station using CMG-5U sensors.
