CMG-DM24S6DCM

CMG-DM24S6DCM CMG-DM24S6DCM

The CMG-DM24S6DCM combines a low noise DM24 digitizer and DCM data module in a single case. Capable of managing two triaxial instruments simultaneously (e.g. surface and borehole, or weak and strong motion), and combining digitizer, data logger, serial output device and network data centre in a single unit, the DM24S6DCM is a complete solution for small seismic stations.

Features

  • 7 low noise 24-bit channels (6 primary and 1 auxiliary)
  • Under 2 W total power consumption
  • STA/LTA, level, and external trigger
  • 4 concurrent output sample rates (continuous or triggered) on each channel
  • Auxiliary channel for user signals and calibration
  • Multi-user Linux operating system with full network support
  • Remote configuration with on-board Web server
  • On-board USB hard disk with temperature control (40 Gb +)
  • Protected Windows-compatible file system ensures complete data surety
  • Full remote control of digitizer parameters
  • Remote sensor mass locking, unlocking and centring
  • Real-time conversion to multiple data formats including full SEED, miniSEED and SAC
  • Network protocols including Scream!, SeedLink and CD1.0/1.1

Recording and networking

With unrivalled data processing capabilities for a low-power device, the DM24S6DCM is an ideal choice for seismic stations of all types.

Data transfer capabilities of the DM24S6DCM's internal data module.

The high-capacity on-board hard disk is capable of recording data from experiments of several months' duration depending on the configured sample rates. Direct recording to full SEED, SAC and other formats is supported out of the box.

A Windows-compatible journalling file system allows the disk to be replaced while the station is running, with no loss of data.

Placed on a local network or on the Internet, the DM24S6DCM can serve data using Scream!, SeedLink, DSS and CD1.0/1.1 protocols.

Web page interface

Direct configuration and data monitoring.
Stored data can be downloaded direct from the Web server.

A flexible and innovative feature of the CMG-DM24S6DCM is its on-board Web server, which can be configured and accessed securely from your network or from anywhere on the Internet.

Using the Web server, authorized users can administer the entire station including monitoring data, altering output channels and sample rates, and reconfiguring network services.

Data from the hard disk can also be downloaded remotely, allowing operators to check the state of health of an autonomous station.
