Güralp welcomes Weston Geophysical as our new US distributor.

Güralp Systems Ltd, the leading global provider of seismic monitoring instrumentation and solutions, has announced a new distribution partnership with the Massachusetts-based company Weston Geophysical Corp.

The United States represents an important market for Güralp, and the partnership agreement will benefit the timing of a number of new product launches planned for 2016.

Weston brings a long and successful history in seismic monitoring research and field deployments to its new partnership with Güralp. The company’s expertise in explosion and earthquake seismology across a broad range of real-world applications will help ensure successful solutions for customers with specific monitoring objectives.

“We are delighted to welcome the Weston Geophysical team on board and look forward to working with them to further strengthen our position in the US market”, said Chris Potts, Executive Chairman of Güralp Systems Ltd.

"Güralp is world-renowned for the quality of its instrumentation and customer service. We are very pleased to be able to offer Güralp’s products to enhance its US customer base” said James Lewkowicz, President of Weston Geophysical Corp.

The partnership with Weston is the latest in a number of new distribution agreements that Güralp has confirmed in recent months, complementing their other new distributors in Thailand, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Spain, and Portugal.

The expanded distributor network reflects the company’s commitment to working with partners who can assist in bringing sophisticated Güralp seismic instrumentation to the global marketplace whilst providing first class customer service.
