Chapter 2. Prerequisites

2.1 Required environment

This procedure is best performed in a clean environment on an anti-static work-bench.

2.2 Required tools

The following tools are required:

• PH2 or PHR2 (No 2 Phillips) screwdriver

  

  Caution: Do not use a PZ2 (Pozi-drive) screwdriver: this will damage the finish on the external screws

• Small side-cutters

• M3 (5.5 mm) nut-spinner or socket

2.3 Required consumables

The following consumables are required:

• 1 × 20 mm × 20 mm self-adhesive cable-tie clip

• 2 × 3 mm × 100 mm nylon cable-tie

• 1 × pre-built replacement SSD – part number CMG-ELP-0117
