1 | Navigate to the approximate location of the instrument. | ☐ |
2 | Recover the Maris system without disconnecting any cable. | ☐ |
3 | Remove the dummy cap from the GNSS connector on the Minimus canister and connect the GNSS receiver using the adapter cable. | ☐ |
4 | Remove the titanium cap from the MIN-K connector. Connect the test cable to the digitiser canister and the serial cable to a PC/laptop. | ☐ |
5 | Identify the relevant COM port and open a connection with the Minimus using PuTTY. | ☐ |
6 | Disable the power-save mode with the command powersave off. | ☐ |
7 | Check the GNSS status and wait until it is 100 % stable. | ☐ |
8 | Check the status of the sensor and download the data from the microSD card. | ☐ |
9 | Recharge the batteries before a new deployment. | ☐ |
