FIELD SERVICES

In addition to supplying seismic systems, Güralp provides a range of after-sales services to support you from the initial point of site selection, through deployment, commissioning and throughout the lifetime of your equipment.

Güralp have a highly skilled and experienced team of field service engineers that undertake a variety of work at our customer’s sites around the world. Our engineers have in excess of 50 years field experience, covering a range of installations in a variety of conditions; surface, downhole, ocean bottom, hot, polar, submerged etc. In addition our engineers receive extensive training, including certification to work offshore in many countries.

STATION AND NETWORK INSTALLATION

Our engineers can either work with your project team to provide specialist support or we can undertake installations in their entirety. We have deployment expertise in a range of environments for surface and vault deployments, sub-surface installations such as posthole and borehole instrumentation, and ocean bottom installations.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

We offer both routine scheduled maintenance services and rapid response technical support and repairs services. Our dedicated and highly skilled customer support and repair teams will help you ensure your Güralp equipment is operating as it should be. We also offer extended warranties for added peace of mind.

Güralp maintains a pool of rental equipment that is available for short to medium term use. Our rental equipment is often used at short notice in response to unexpected events. TRAINING

We offer bespoke training either at our UK headquarters or at customer sites around the world. Training can cover a range of topics, including but not limited to; product operation, site selection, installation methodologies, noise level optimisation, operational considerations, software configuration, new products and technologies, maintenance, basic fault finding procedures and repairs. DATA MANAGEMENT

DATA MANAGEMENT

We can assist you with network operations through the provision of seismic data management and processing. If required we gather and quality check the data from your networks for archiving or forwarding to data processing partners and undertake regular instrument and system reviews. We also offer complete data processing services in partnership with industry leading experts in data processing.

NOISE SURVEYS

NOISE SURVEYS

We can deliver turnkey passive seismic surveys for determining baseline seismicity or seismic noise. We will work with you to plan a survey that meets your objectives, selecting the most appropriate instrumentation for the project. As well as installation, servicing and retrieval of the equipment, we can undertake collection, quality checking and processing of the data, then provide you with a detailed noise survey report. AFTER-SALES CARE AND SUPPORT

At Güralp we are proud to provide first class after-sales service to our customers. Our dedicated, specialist repairs team provide servicing, repairs and calibration services for all of our equipment in line with our Warranty and Repairs Policy.

Our repair service provides fault diagnosis and verification through to the final repair report detailing the corrective action taken, so that the customer has a full overview of the situation. Throughout the process our customer service team ensure the customer is frequently updated and any repair work fully agreed upon. This work can be for planned for on a maintenance arrangement or undertaken on a reactive basis. You can find out more on our customer support page.

EXTENDED WARRANTIES
We offer a range of options to provide extended warranties or service contracts.
