After nearly four decades of dedication, expertise, and unforgettable character, Chris Pearcey is retiring from his role as Technical Director - marking the end of an era for our company.

Chris joined the company in 1987, near the very beginning of our journey, as a bright and capable young Engineer. From day one, he demonstrated a rare combination of technical brilliance, curiosity, and genuine passion for innovation. Over the years, he grew with the business, helping shape its direction, culture, and identity, culminating in his role as Technical Director in 2020.

A true historian of our technology, Chris’ knowledge of our instrumentation range is unmatched. His insight has guided countless product developments and solutions, not just in our headquarters, but also out in the field. Chris has had many adventures deploying our instrumentation in remote locations and challenging environments. His ability to find humour in even the toughest situations, paired with his famously quirky wit, has made him not just a colleague, but a cherished companion through the years.

As Chris embarks on his well-earned retirement, we want to express our deepest gratitude for his unwavering commitment, his mentorship, and the extraordinary mark he leaves behind. Chris will be sorely missed, we thank him wholeheartedly for his remarkable contribution, and we wish him all the joy and adventure that retirement has to offer.
