In addition to supplying seismic systems, Güralp provides a range of after-sales services to support you from the initial point of site selection, through deployment, commissioning and throughout the lifetime of your equipment.
Güralp have a highly skilled and experienced team of field service engineers that undertake a variety of work at our customer’s sites around the world. Our engineers have in excess of 50 years field experience, covering a range of installations in a variety of conditions; surface, downhole, ocean bottom, hot, polar, submerged etc. In addition our engineers receive extensive training, including certification to work offshore in many countries.

Shawn has a wealth of international travel experience, having visited nearly 100 countries for Güralp to carry out assessments and installations in the field. He is particularly interested in the self-noise long period response of weak motion sensors and has co-authored a number of papers on this subject.
Shawn's role is focused on oversees field services and installations of Güralp equipment.
Andy Smith has over 20 years of experience within Güralp, he has worked in research and instrument design as well as leading project design and installation.
Before joining Güralp, Andy worked in technical field support after graduating with an Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree from Imperial College, London.
Andy currently works as a project leader but he still has a keen interest in the development of string installations and Güralp borehole equipment.

AFTER-SALES CARE AND SUPPORT
At Güralp we are proud to provide first class after-sales service to our customers. Our dedicated, specialist repairs team provide servicing, repairs and calibration services for all of our equipment in line with our Warranty and Repairs Policy.
Our repair service provides fault diagnosis and verification through to the final repair report detailing the corrective action taken, so that the customer has a full overview of the situation. Throughout the process our customer service team ensure the customer is frequently updated and any repair work fully agreed upon. This work can be for planned for on a maintenance arrangement or undertaken on a reactive basis. You can find out more on our customer support page.
